Anything and Everything

Hearing the news in recent days of the death of footballers Colin Mcdonald, Martin Chivers and Terry Yorath, is sad news to those of us of a certain age. In recent decades they gave pleasure to millions of supporters who spent their Saturday afternoons watching, what Pele called, the beautiful game. Their passing is not just the death of our heroes, but a reminder of our own mortality. Rest in Peace.
