Anything and Everything

Today I purchased a card to give to my wife on February 14th (Valentines Day). It’s a centuries old tradition and one that I happily participate in.

I know there is an argument that you show your appreciation for your loved one, all year round.

That viewpoint has some superficial validity, but in a changing world, this old fashioned gesture has something to be said in it’s favour and the gratitude of actually having someone you can show love to.

Therefore that card, I have tucked away until the day I can present it to her, and say with truth, I love you.
