Anything and Everything

As we get older, nostalgia takes us over. Tonight I was watching on YouTube an edition of the British television programme Top of The Pops from 1974.

Watching it brought back vivid memories of songs that I had forgotten about plus a few that I was happy to forget!

It was a delight to listen to Suzi Quatro and John Denver, plus Ray Stevens singing ‘The Streak’ a song about the then popular habit of streaking.

I wonder if today’s young people will be as delighted when they look back in 50 years time. Somehow I doubt it.
