Anything and Everything

Southend on Sea is where I have lived since my teenage years. It is located approximately 30 miles east of London.

One blog post could never do justice to the city, but the above pictures give a flavour.

There is the famous Rossi ice cream. Founded by the Rossi family down here. A descendent of them is Francis Rossi of Status Quo.

The Big wheel at Adventure Island is enjoyed by children of all ages, and those who have a good head for heights!

The pleasure pier with it’s popular train, is an important tourist attraction, which had restoration work after a major fire in 1976.

The beach, as can be seen is crowded on hot sunny days and attracts visitors from miles away. It is why I enjoy living here.
