Cats are natural predators. They hunt rodents, birds, squirrels and frogs as their prey.
Perching in high places like trees, gives them a good view of what is available to hunt.
After they come back home, many a human has been presented with a ‘gift’ of a dead mouse or bird, as an act of affection.
To cat’s that behaviour is perfectly normal, simply copying the behaviour of their wild ancestors.
Despite all that, millions of us still love and care for them and treat them as part of the family. Isn’t life paradoxical?
