For the last couple of weeks I have been suffering from a chest infection, along with my wife (Something that has limited me posting on this blog recently). Fortunately it is gradually getting better.
However for most of today, my back has been hurting and as a result I have had to rest a lot. Dark thoughts have started to invade my mind.
I am now 62 and as I get older it is inevitable that my health will decline. That is the nature of human existence.
I want a retirement where I have plenty of leisure and independence. I hope and pray that this is just a temporary blip and not the precursor of something worse.
