The above statement by the FCC chief Brendan Carr is a clear attempt to intimidate the US media. His remarks, made in regard to coverage of the Middle East war, raise important questions.
Trump has been claiming that the Americans are winning and that the Iranian regime is collapsing. However, the the Iranians are still fighting and that they have blocked shipping in the Straights of Hormuz.
Could it be the case that the Americans are starting to panic, and in particular, that the media are showing that the story fro the government is not entirely true, hence the calls for dissenting voices to be silenced?
