If I was to be going on a cross country trip, something that I am not planning to fo in the foreseeable future, I would choose to travel by bus or train.
By plane would not appeal to me as I don’t particularly enjoy heights and cars and bikes are a non starter as I don’t drive.
However buses and trains would be ideal for me as I can relax and enjoy the scenery, which is in my view, thr basic idea of the trip. Someone else is doing the hard work and I can recharge my batteries.
