Anything and Everything

So Viktor Orban, The authoritarian leader of Hungary, has been defeated by his own people in national elections.

Orban during his years in power, worked hard to undermine democratic norms, politicize the judiciary, demonise LGBT people and prefer Putin, despite the war with Ukraine.

He even had US Vice president J.D. Vance come to Hungary to help support him, obviously unaware how toxic any support from the Trump administration is.

Hopefully Hungary will rejoin the European mainstream and help to stem the tide of the far right in Europe.
