Anything and Everything

At the time of posting this, speculation is growing that a leadership challenge to Labour Prime Minister Keir Starmer is imminent.

This is a result of the very bad local election results last Thursday, which saw Labour lose many seats and councils to the Green Party and Reform UK (Plus Plaid Cymru in Wales)

Labour came to power in 2024 with a big majority in parliament, promising change after 14 disastrous years of Conservative rule.

Although there have been achievements, especially in schools, workers rights and protection for renters, progress is still very slow on a daily basis, especially the cost of living.

Therefore Keir Starmer is a very unpopular Prime Minister and after last Thursday, there is a feeling that he must go and it seems that is the most likely outcome at present.
