What’s a fear you’ve overcome — and how did you do it?
The biggest fear in my life that I’ve overcome, started when I was a teenager and only in my middle aged years did I truly overcome it.
That fear was approaching females. As a young man I was shy and insecure about myself, both physically and psychologically. I would rather have hidden in a cave than chatting up a woman, so I missed out many wonderful experiences.
By middle aged, I had developed greater self confidence and the process of approaching a woman became much easier, even though I still made mistakes.
There is a happy ending, because I am now happily married to a wonderful woman and life is good for me now.
