What’s your top tip to be successful in life?

How do we describe being successful in life. It’s an interesting question and there are two opposing ways to describe this.

The first is about having a successful career with plenty of money, a big house, fast cars and all sorts of additional luxuries that money can buy. In other words, material success.

The other is about being decent, having moral standards, empathy, compassion and being a caring individual. That is being a successful human being.

Admittedly, the two definitions may not always be mutually exclusive, but in essence I prefer the latter as greed and materialism has made the world a far worse place.
